We had a wide ranging discussion about their goals and plans for their band, their music and background, and going through some of the trials and tribulations of life. They played "Whatever It Is" and "Waste My Time." We played out with their single, "Way Back Home."

Episode 11: CrashDive

July 31, 2017

On July 29, 2017, we had Rich, Saar and Pepe from the band CrashDive in the studio. We discussed their formation, their songwriting process, and trying to balance their band with other life plans and goals. They played "A Million Goodbyes,"Bottle of Wine" and we played out with "Me Gusta." A special thanks to Mallory Lennon for sitting in the Nate chair with Nate out sick.

Episode 10: Kai Andersen and the Pickups

On June 13, 2017, we had Kai, Patrick, Elizabeth and Dax from Kai Andersen and the Pickups in the studio.  We discussed band formation, songwriting and playing electric guitars unplugged.  They played "Kind of Evil" and "The Werewolves of Kenosha" live and we played out with "These Things."

Episode 9: StereoViolet

June 30, 2017

On June 29, 2017, we had Bianca, Chuy and Frigo of the band StereoViolet in the studio. We discussed the formation of the band, their musical journey, and their songwriting process. We got to hear them play stripped down versions of two of their songs, "Shotgun" and "Insincere," and we play out with their track "Whisper." Looking forward to watching this band take off.

Episode 8: Drown The Sea

On June 15, 2017, we had Erika, Al-Imran, and Rich on from Drown The Sea. We discussed being sent to creepy basements in medical facilities off of craigslist posts, the development of their sound through people with different backgrounds, and their plans for the future. Episode 7: 13-Monsters

On June 10, 2017, we invited Deb and Jamie of 13-Monsters and The Donkey Banana Show. Mallory Lennon was kind enough to sit in the Nate chair. We discussed Deb's desire to work in an office supply store, Jamie's crazy past band experiences, and we played a band version of the Newlywed Game.  Deb and Jamie played "Home," and "Perfectly Imperfect" and we played out with "Never Let You Go."  We want to thank Deb and Jamie for coming on.  Hope y'all enjoy.

Episode 6: Mallory Lennon

On June 1, 2017, we had Mallory Lennon in the studio. We discussed the evolution of language from Medieval Literature to Covfefe, interesting places to see live artists in Grayslake, Illinois, her origin story, and the 63 year old man living inside her. Mallory performed "Honey Spine" and "Born In A Bad Way," both are must listen moments for the show, and we played out with her track "Smoke You Out."

On May 26, 2017, we had Vince and Lauren in the studio from The Artist Formally Known As Vince Band. Vince and Lauren discussed their experiences performing outside of the City of Chicago, having fun on stage, bandmates that come and go, the way their music has spiderwebbed across the globe, and Lauren renamed Sam our "Glintern." They performed "Hold Tight" and "Magazine Pages." We play out with their single "Luck" from their last album. I highly recommend checking out The Artist Formally Known As Vince Band. This was an amazingly fun interview.

Episode 4: Anna P.

May 19, 2017

On May 18, 2017, we had Anna P in the studio. Anna discussed how Teen Titans inspired her, her desire to be a J-Pop superstar, and Anna and Rich did dueling Trump impressions, while Nate shook his head fearing a loss of 39% of the listening audience. Anna performed "Vagabond," and "Lean on this Love," and we play out with "Northern Star." Hope everyone enjoys this amazing lyricist, songwriter and singer.
